Isuzu Cagayan De Oro was recently named the 2024 Dealer of the Year winner during Isuzu Philippines Corporation’s prestigious awarding ceremony held at Solaire Resort Manila in Parañaque City last month. Overall, it is the seventh time that the CDO dealership was bestowed the distinguished award, having been recognized in 2009, 2010, 2011,2013, 2014, 2015 and in 2024.

Established in 1973, Isuzu CDO was among the 50 dealerships that were celebrating the annual event, which recognizes excellence in sales, parts, and service operations, underscoring the dedication and performance of Isuzu dealers across 45 cities nationwide.

“It has been nine years already since we won. So, it’s extra special,” said Nyle Balasabas, general manager of Isuzu CDO during their dealership’s acceptance speech in front of hundreds in attendance.

“We just want to soak in the moment.”

“We’re again bringing back home the trophy to Cagayan de Oro. Thank you, Isuzu. This is such a wonderful honor,” he then added.

Meanwhile, securing second place in the 2024 Dealer of the Year Awards was Isuzu Calapan, followed by Isuzu Subic in third spot. These top three dealerships exhibited exemplary performance across all business areas. Usually, the DOYA is based on a comprehensive evaluation of each dealer’s performance, measuring their sales achievements, parts and service operations, customer satisfaction, and compliance with the Japanese carmaker’s operational standards.

For Isuzu CDO, which is managed under the wing of North-Min Autodealership, Inc. together with its other dealerships in Pagadiana and Butian, it was consistently rated high in all of IPC’s key pillars in sales, parts and service operations.

“We congratulate our entire dealer network for their outstanding performance in 2024,” stated IPC president, Tetsuya Fujita.

According to him, the dealerships’ dedication to excellence and customer service has played a crucial role in maintaining Isuzu’s position as the number one truck brand in the country for 25 consecutive years.

“This achievement is a testament to the hard work, passion, and commitment our dealers are delivering to our valued customers nationwide,” he continued.

In 2024, IPC sold a total of 17,641 vehicle units, placing sixth in the overall automotive industry, or a 3.78-percent share of the market. This was a slight growth compared to its 2023 numbers of 17, 607 units.

In the trucks and buses category, IPC placed at the top of its segment, selling 2,812 units; 1,534 units and 245 units in the light-duty, medium-duty and heavy-duty segments, respectively.
