GAME OF E-TRON

Audi Philippines just upped the ante in the raging war of electric vehicles with the launch of the latest fully electrified Audi model, the all-new Q6 e-tron Performance cross-over.
The Q6 E-Tron boasts a whole raft of cutting edge technology finally available to Philippine customers, foremost of which is Audi’s Self-Driving System, a first in the local market.
The brand’s self-driving system uses numerous sensors to constantly monitor the Q6 e-tron’s surroundings, allowing it to automatically to safely maintain its pre-set speed. The system can automatically and safely adjust for changes should vehicles ahead of it slows down. The system also determines the ideal distance from the vehicle in front, and will automatically react instantaneously.

In stop-and-go traffic, the self-driving system can slow the Q6 e-tron up to a complete stop, then set off again without any driver intervention.
The rest of the usual advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) augment the Audi Self-Driving System: lane departure warning, swerve assist and front turn assist, cross traffic assist, and emergency brake assist, among others.
Parking the new Q6 e-tron Performance is also safer and more convenient, thanks to other features systems that include Drive and Park that can autonomously slot the vehicle into an identified parking slot.
“The introduction of the 100% electric e-tron SUV and e-tron GT models in early 2022 ushered a new chapter in Audi’s success story in the Philippines. It spurred the adoption of premium electromobility in the country through seamless ownership processes, standardization of charging solutions, and partnerships with various stakeholders. The launch of the all-new Audi Q6 e-tron accelerates the progress of the local market’s transition to fully electric vehicles,” said Benedicto Coyiuto, Audi Philippines Head and President of PGA Cars during the media launch at the PGA Cars Studio.

Audis have always had very well designed and classy interiors and the Q6 e-tron is no different: Audi’s Digital Stage makes its debut. The features consists of three main screens: the 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit, 14.5-inch Audi MMI panoramic touch display, and the 10.9-inch MMI passenger touch display.
The virtual cockpit, which shows a variety of vehicle information, and the MMI panoramic display are placed on the slim, free-standing curved panel with OLED technology. This curved panel is oriented toward the driver.
The MMI panoramic display provides access to infotainment, climate, navigation, and smartphone functions. The MMI passenger display lets the front-seat occupant manage navigation and entertainment options without distracting the driver.

Above the Audi Digital Stage, projected on the windshield, is the augmented reality head-up display (AR HuD).
The Q6 e-tron is built atop the VAG Group’s Premium Platform Electric, a scaleable and modular chassis dedicated to electric vehicles. The Q6 e-tron Performance launch variant features a single electric rear axle mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor, with a total output of 326hp and 485 Newton-Meters of torque. The 100kwh battery uses 800 volt technology, and allows the DC charger to power up the batteries from 10% to 80% in just over 20 minutes with a 271kw DC charger. It has a WLTP verified range of 640km, too. And because it’s an Audi, you know it will drive very well.
With all the latest advancements in electric vehicle technology, Audi is definitely leading the way to an electrified driving future.
