GWM Philippines now offers the new Tank 300, along with the Haval H6 HEV, Jolion and Cannon
Manila, Philippines – Luxuriant Automotive Group initially launched its lineup of GWM models in the Philippine market in April of this year. The Haval H6 HEV, Haval Jolion, and GWM Cannon were unveiled to an enthusiastic crowd at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila.
Recently, the GWM Tank 300 made its grand entrance into the local automotive scene.
According to GWM Philippines, they are designed to offer customers the latest in technology, safety, and performance, making them the perfect choice for Filipinos looking for high-quality and reliable vehicles. Haval is China’s bestselling SUV brand, while the GWM Cannon, known in China as the Po’er, has been China’s largest-selling pickup for the last 25 years.
Haval H6 HEV is the hybrid version of the highly popular H6 compact SUV, with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine combined with a 130 kW Dedicated Hybrid Transmission, providing a maximum power output of 240 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque.
Haval Jolion, a subcompact SUV, can come with a hybrid powertrain, or a traditional internal combustion powertrain. The true hybrid variant comprises a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, and a 115 kW Dedicated Hybrid Transmission capable of producing a combined output of 186 hp and 375 N-m of torque. The ICE variant, on the other hand, is powered by a 1.5L turbo-charged engine with an output of 141 hp and 220 N-m of torque. The Haval Jolion is available in four variants: HEV DHT Supreme, DCT Supreme, DCT Max and DCT Plus.
To provide its customers a blend of toughness and luxury, GWM created the GWM Cannon pickup. GWM Cannon is a reliable workhorse with a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that can deliver up to 161 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The GWM Cannon is available in three variants with 4×4 and 4×2 sub-variants.
Now, with the local entry of the GWM Tank 300, the SUV brings with it a legacy of power, versatility, and unmatched off-road capabilities. Built for the urban off-road enthusiast, the Tank 300 is powered by a potent 2.0L Turbocharged engine paired with an 8-Speed AT, delivering an impressive 224 hp and 380 N-m of torque. It is designed to conquer rugged trails with 224-mm ground clearance and a wading depth of 700mm with Front Double Wishbone and Rear Multi-link Non-independent suspension system and advanced traction control technology to ensure a controlled yet thrilling off-road adventure.
Inside, the Tank 300 lies a veritable sanctuary of comfort and technology. Nappa leather seating surfaces, an 12.3-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System, 12.3 Full-Color Instrument Cluster and smart connectivity features elevate the driving experience, combining ergonomic luxury with modern convenience.
Local colors available for the Tank 300 are Crystal Black, Dusk Orange and Fossil Grey.
