Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) is celebrating its second year in the local automotive industry as the official sales subsidiary and distributor for Hyundai passenger cars in the country.

With this, the Korean brand, being among the top carmakers in the world, prides itself on excellent products and services. Hence, in keeping with the standards of excellence known globally, HMPH has conducted a rigorous evaluation of all its 53 dealerships under its wing. The judging process has been one of the most stringent of all the award-giving bodies known locally.

Particularly, here, it is not solely the volume of car sales that gets the most credit in the judging process, but the overall customer service satisfaction and experience, plus, the overall dealer operations.

In fact, at times, HMPH would even conduct the process of “mystery shopping”, wherein trained personnel would pretend to be the actual customer. They would do walk-ins and phone-in calls to gauge how efficient the dealers’ services really are.

After conducting local auditing, the next stage was determined by their headquarters in South Korea. This ensured that only the best, or shall we say the cream of the crop was expected out of the results. Nothing less.

This annual award reinforces the brand’s commitment to uphold exceptional customer experience through the promotion of exemplary performance across all aspects of operations.

And HMPH President Dong Wook Lee took note of the dealerships’ crucial role in this campaign in his speech during the Dealer of the Year Awards (DOYA) event at the Conrad Hotel ballroom held recently.

”A mission to continuously do our best to improve the quality of life through our products and services. I would like to extend my gratitude to our dealer partners whose outstanding support has been instrumental in advancing this cause of connecting with our customers, and elevating the brand image,” said Lee.

”While we celebrate our achievements over past two years, I firmly believe that we have only begun to tap into the full potential our brand. There is so much more we can and will do for the Filipino community,” he added.

The following are this year’s top performers who were recognized:
