JETOUR T2 takes over Ilocos Norte: Owners push the SUV to limits in exclusive off-road adventure

Press Release

JETOUR Auto Philippines successfully hosted the JETOUR T2 Sand Dunes Experience, a three-day off-road adventure held from November 28 to 30 at the iconic Paoay Sand Dunes. What began as a simple gathering of JETOUR T2 owners quickly transformed into a memorable journey—a story of community, capability, and shared passion for adventure.

The expedition began at the JETOUR Auto Quezon Avenue flagship showroom, where participants arrived before sunrise on November 28 for a brief orientation and vehicle checks. After assembling, the convoy set off on a 13-hour drive to Ilocos Norte, giving owners the chance to experience the T2’s remarkable comfort, stability, and performance over long distances. Along the way, participants bonded over their shared enthusiasm for the vehicle and the journey ahead.

But one presence stood out among the group: Mr. Aldrin Francisco, a proud JETOUR T2 owner based in Saudi Arabia, who is known within the Filipino expatriate community for actively supporting and connecting with fellow OFW car enthusiasts, flew home to the Philippines specifically to join the JETOUR T2 Sand Dunes Experience.

Aldrin as one of the earliest T2 owners in Saudi Arabia, he has been a genuine voice for the brand—sharing his experiences, technical insights, and off-road stories with Filipino communities overseas. His passion caught the attention of JETOUR Auto Philippines, who personally invited him to take part in the event. His arrival energized the entire team, symbolizing how the JETOUR community has grown far beyond borders.

Throughout the three-day journey, Aldrin connected effortlessly with local owners, exchanging tips and stories while demonstrating his confidence in the T2’s capabilities. In many ways, his presence reflected what the event stood for: a community strengthened not just by a vehicle, but by shared experience and genuine camaraderie.

Day 2: Adventure Meets Heritage

On November 29, the second day of the adventure, the participants began with breakfast at Venetian Hall before finalizing vehicle preparations. The convoy first headed to the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation in Burgos, Ilocos Norte, where owners explored the natural limestone formations and captured scenic photos with their vehicles.

This was followed by a drive to Paoay Town Proper, where participants enjoyed lunch at Smoke Bar & Restaurant and a guided tour of the historic Paoay Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The morning and early afternoon combined both cultural exploration and leisure, giving owners the chance to connect with the local area and each other.

The group then proceeded to Suba, Paoay Sand Dunes, where the main off-road activities took place. Event branding and vehicle arrangements were set up as participants received a comprehensive Terrain Challenge briefing led by accredited 4×4 instructor Leland Pascual. The owners navigated the dunes under expert guidance, testing the T2’s intelligent powertrain, capable suspension, and advanced traction systems. High-angle ascents, deep-sand tracks, and steep dune climbs challenged the drivers, who learned techniques to maximize both safety and vehicle performance.

A special session with Leland Pascual and Aldrin Francisco allowed participants to test more advanced techniques, pushing both driver skill and vehicle performance. Laughter, adrenaline, and shouts of triumph echoed across the dunes. As one participant later shared, “The T2 handled the dunes better than I ever imagined. I can’t wait for our next off-road adventure!”

The day wound down with sandboarding, sunset photos, and testimonials before the convoy returned to Java Hotel—still buzzing from the thrill of the dunes.

Day 3: Heritage and Connection in Vigan City

On the final day, November 30, participants traveled to Vigan City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture, cobblestone streets, and rich cultural heritage. Owners explored the city’s charming streets, admired ancestral houses, and experienced a taste of Ilocano history and craftsmanship. The group had lunch at Café Leona, a local favorite known for its traditional Filipino cuisine and warm ambiance and it became more than just a meal it turned into a collective reflection point.

Over traditional dishes and warm conversation, owners shared their thoughts on the T2’s performance and their excitement for future drives. One customer described the experience perfectly:

“Exploring Vigan with the JETOUR community was unforgettable. The car, the sights, and the people made this trip extraordinary.”

Another added, “From highways to sand dunes, the T2 is truly a reliable companion. This experience has exceeded all my expectations.”

This provided the perfect setting to strengthen relationships with customers, share feedback on the T2’s performance, and discuss plans for future drives. Many participants expressed excitement at the T2’s versatility and reliability, already looking forward to their next adventure.

A community strengthened

As the journey came to a close, Marketing Director Cherry May De Los Santos reflected on what the event truly meant:

“This Sand Dunes Experience goes beyond just testing the limits of the JETOUR T2. It’s about creating meaningful connections with our owners, celebrating their passion for driving, and showing them the full capability of our vehicles in both thrilling and cultural settings. Seeing their joy and engagement across Ilocos Norte has been truly inspiring.”

Over three days, the convoy traveled highways, conquered sand dunes, explored heritage sites, and built friendships that felt like they’d been years in the making. The JETOUR T2 proved itself across every terrain—but more importantly, the community proved that the journey is just as powerful as the destination.

The JETOUR T2 Sand Dunes Experience stands as another milestone in JETOUR Auto Philippines’ mission to build not just a customer base, but a connected, passionate, and adventure-driven community. And judging by the smiles, stories, and promises of “next time,” this journey is only the beginning.
