Lexus adding a QC address
Lexus Philippines has taken a significant step in strengthening its presence in the country’s luxury automotive market with the groundbreaking of the upcoming Lexus Quezon City Gallery last December 16th. Located along Sgt. Esguerra Street, the new facility signals the brand’s confidence in the Philippine market and its long-term commitment to delivering premium ownership experiences anchored on craftsmanship, innovation, and hospitality, and its philosophy of Omotenashi.
Designed as a modern expression of Lexus’ bold and forward-looking design language, the Quezon City Gallery will feature sharp, tapered surfaces and clean linear geometries, complemented by a curated mix of materials that blend local artistry with Japanese craftsmanship. Spanning approximately 12,700 square meters across four floors with a mezzanine, the facility will house a full suite of aftersales services, including Lexus One, periodic maintenance, general services, and body and paint operations. Once operational, it is expected to elevate ownership care standards while improving accessibility for customers in northern Metro Manila. The gallery is tentatively set to open in 2027.
According to Lexus Philippines Chairman Alfred Ty, the expansion reflects both the brand’s steady growth and the strength of the local luxury car market. From selling just 172 units in 2009, Lexus Philippines now delivers more than 2,000 vehicles annually, with over 12,000 Lexus vehicles currently on Philippine roads. Ty noted that Quezon City is a strategic location, pointing out that more than 2,000 Lexus customers already reside in the area. Establishing a dedicated gallery in the city allows the brand to serve its customers with greater convenience while extending the Lexus experience to a wider and growing community.

This is not Lexus Philippines’ first foray into Quezon City, albeit in a very different form. In 2014, Lexus opened a Lexus Gallery boutique showroom inside Robinsons Magnolia mall in New Manila, Quezon City, serving as a satellite display to bring the brand closer to potential customers in the area. The boutique, featuring a one-car display, lifestyle merchandise, and even a lounge experience, was intended to stretch Lexus’ visibility and connect with luxury buyers in Quezon City, New Manila, and nearby Greenhills. It operated as a permanent mall presence and ran for a contracted duration of about two years.
The Quezon City Gallery also marks Lexus Philippines’ first major dealer network expansion since the opening of the new Lexus Manila Gallery in Bonifacio Global City in November, underscoring a carefully paced but deliberate growth strategy. Rather than pursuing rapid expansion, Lexus continues to focus on strengthening its brand experience and customer engagement—an approach that has translated into strong market performance.
Industry data from reputable automotive and corporate sources show that Lexus has consistently led the Philippine luxury car segment in recent years. In 2023, Lexus accounted for roughly 42 percent of total luxury vehicle sales in the country, outperforming established European rivals. This leadership position further strengthened in 2024, with corporate disclosures indicating that Lexus captured more than half of the local luxury market. Early 2025 figures suggest that this dominance has been sustained, reinforcing Lexus’ position as the country’s leading luxury automotive brand.
This market leadership provides important context for the Quezon City expansion. As demand for premium vehicles continues to grow alongside rising purchasing power and a broader shift toward electrified mobility, Lexus is positioning itself to support sustainable, long-term growth. The brand’s strong emphasis on hybrid technology, reliability, and aftersales excellence resonates well with local buyers, particularly those seeking a balance between luxury, performance, and environmental responsibility.
By expanding its physical footprint and aftersales capabilities, Lexus Philippines is not only improving customer access but also strengthening retention and long-term brand loyalty, considered as critical factors in the highly competitive luxury segment. The Quezon City Gallery is expected to play a key role in supporting this ecosystem, ensuring that ownership remains seamless and rewarding throughout the vehicle life cycle.
Ultimately, the expansion into Quezon City reflects Lexus Philippines’ confidence in both its brand and the local market. With sustained sales growth, a commanding share of the luxury segment, and a clear focus on customer experience, Lexus is laying the groundwork for continued relevance and resilience in the evolving Philippine automotive landscape.
