Lexus Manila begins a new chapter in BGC

When Lexus first arrived in the Philippines in 2009, its original Bonifacio Global City showroom introduced Filipinos to the brand’s uniquely quiet take on luxury. Designed with Zen-inspired simplicity, wood accents, and a serene interior garden, that space set the tone for Lexus hospitality in Manila that is deeply rooted in “omotenashi”, the Japanese art of anticipating a guest’s needs.
Some 16 years later, Lexus is opening a new home in the same city, the Lexus Manila Gallery at 8th Avenue, Grand Central Park. More than just a dealership, it reimagines what a showroom can be, blending Japanese precision with Filipino warmth and signaling the brand’s next era in electrified luxury.
The new Lexus Manila Gallery was envisioned as a sanctuary rather than a sales floor. Designed in collaboration with Casas + Architects, the building embodies Lexus’s L-Finesse design language in which simplicity, calm, and refined detail and is woven around Filipino craft traditions. Overhead “nest” structures, wood-clad columns, rattan textures, and Capiz-inspired accents create a tactile, Filipino artisanal touch.
According to Casas + Architects, the design of the Lexus Showroom was inspired by Lexus’ Japanese origin, and the Bonifacio Global City showroom is characterized by sleek modern lines and a quiet elegance that complements the quiet luxury and fine craftsmanship of Takumi masters who have worked on the Lexus vehicles on display there.
Inside, spaces unfold in carefully choreographed sequences, with its welcoming lounges, curated display areas for Lexus Electrified models, private consultation suites, and service bays designed to be as polished as the showroom floor. The effect is more boutique gallery than traditional dealership, reflecting Lexus’s belief that luxury is not about excess, but about hospitality and care.
Compared to its predecessor, which relied on minimalism and Zen gardens, the Lexus Manila Gallery expands both in scale and purpose. It’s designed not only to showcase cars but also to host events, exhibitions, and client experiences. By integrating electrification into its displays and providing charging-ready facilities, the Gallery also points firmly toward Lexus’s future while staying true to the timeless craftsmanship that defined its beginnings.
The grand opening had been planned for September 26, 2025, but as Tropical Storm Opong approached the country, Lexus made the decision to postpone. For a brand that places safety and hospitality at the core of its philosophy, that was the natural choice. The Lexus Manila Gallery will now officially open its doors on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Ultimately, the new Lexus Manila Gallery is more than an upgraded space. It represents how Lexus sees luxury evolving: not as opulence, but as thoughtful design, cultural respect, and forward-looking technology. Every detail, from the woven ceilings to the placement of cars, is intended to slow guests down, to make them feel cared for, and to remind them that luxury is about how one is welcomed as much as what one drives.
From its first Zen-like showroom to this new gallery of light, craft, and anticipation, Lexus Manila has come full circle, showing that true luxury is not static but continuously redefined.
