Mitsubishi launches all-new Destinator
The all-new Destinator, a 7-seat SUV with a turbocharged gasoline engine, has been officially launched by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC). Mitsubishi aims to combine the premium driving feel of an SUV with the versatility and practicality of an MPV, ideal for Filipino families. Get to see and test drive the Destinator from November 20-23, 2025 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
Destinator is built on the concept of “Confidence Booster for Energetic Families,” embodying the core promises of confidence, capability and prestige.
Destinator features Mitsibushi’s Dynamic Shield grille with a honeycomb pattern and front LED daytime running lights. 18-inch machine-cut two-tone alloy wheels combine with sculpted fenders, hood vents, and blacked out pillars. The rear of the Destinator features the Hexguard Horizon design concept also seen on the Xforce, including horizontal T-shaped taillights.

Power comes from Mitsubishi’s 4B40 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 163ps and 250Nm. The engine uses a water-cooled intercooler paired to a front-wheel drive CVT. Mitsubishi references its rally racing heritage with the Drive Modes available on the Destinator. This allows the driver to select from: Normal, Wet, Gravel, Mud, and surely the most fun—Tarmac mode.
Destinator promises a spacious interior for seven people, with flexibility seating for utility and cargo functions. The interior of the Destinator features a monolithic display panel with an available 12.3 inch infotainment screen, 8-inch multi-information display, and a smart rear view mirror for a clear view behind. Premium touches include 64-color ambient lighting front and rear, panoramic sunroof, a Yamaha premium sound system, and second-row seatback tables and pockets. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are on board. Dual-zone automatic climate control, Nanoe X air purification system, and console box with cooling function improve cabin comfort for long-distance (or long hours in traffic) travel.

The Destinator SUV introduces Mitsubishi Connect as the brand’s first vehicle with connected car services in the Philippines. Car features can be accessed via smartphone app. This includes remote climate control, remote door unlock, car finder, stolen vehicle tracking, and automatic collision notification. – please verify
Mitsubishi says that the Destinator chassis has been tuned for comfort on ASEAN roads, such as they are. 214mm ground clearance enables it to tackle rough and flooded roads. Destinator earned the highest 5-star safety rating from the ASEAN NCAP new-car safety performance assessment program.
The Destinator comes standard with 6 SRS airbags the Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing system, with adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam, blind spot warning, a forward collision warning system, and car departure notification system. A multi-around 360-degree monitor makes it easier to maneuver in tight spaces or in traffic.
