New Mitsubishi Matina dealership exceeds expectations in first year

After just one year of formal operations, Mitsubishi Matina has gone above and beyond their original targets.

Elviro C. Ubaub Jr., a 10-year Gateway veteran and currently Mitsubishi Matina’s Branch Head, shared how he has grown Mitsubishi Matina – the first 3S Mitsubishi dealer in Davao – into the smashing success it is now.
“Quality in service and great in customer care,” Ubaub reveals his two core management values. “Our prime mission is to focus on great service and make our customer satisfied and happy, specially for sales and aftersales to cater the needs of every family’s transportation or business needs – particularly in the Davao region, and other nearby regions in Mindanao – which will help alleviate their life and travels to make work easy and convenient,” he adds.

Sales are any dealership’s top priority, in which Ubaub and his dedicated sales team have strongly succeeded. “Sales are strong for the Mirage sedan for city areas, with customers in newly start up families or first car owners,” Ubaub starts to detail his customers’ demographics, “Xpander for second-car users, or family use –mostly OFW preference; Montero mostly for business owners and second car users; Triton pick ups for farm owners, businessmen and OFWs; L300 mainly for business-use owners, and Xforce for young professionals and rich individuals with preference to their lifestyle get ups.”
Being the first 3S Mitsubishi dealer in Davao, Mitsubishi Matina has a head start on the competition — not only in tenure, but in competency as well. “Our service staff are all automotive graduates; they are NC1 and NC2 passers, and certified Mitsubishi technicians”, Ubaub factually stated. “We offer quick services such as preventive maintenance service and General Job – underchassis, aircon, electrical, transmission, engine overhauling and others. We can also cater to body repair and painting jobs,” he continued. “For quick service it is one hour on average, but some general jobs can have a turnaround time of one to two hours, – or days – if with major repairs.”
“Our service area has 16 working bays for aftersales service and has an average SIU of 25 daily, 600 plus per month,” Ubaub points out, “But we can cater to as much as 40 daily or 1000 in a month,” he assured.
