Red Dot Awards names Lamborghini Revuelto as ‘Best of the Best’

Automobili Lamborghini has swept the 2025 Red Dot Awards as all three models from the Raging Bulls range were recognized for exemplary design by the prestigious global organization.

Named as “Red Dot: Best of the Best” in the Product Design category was the Lamborghini Revuelto. The Lamborghini Urus SE and the Temerario also stood out as these received Red Dot Awards in the same category.

Receiving the awards highlights the significance of design for Lamborghini, the first supercar brand to have an entirely hybrid range while continuing to achieve legendary performance.

Credited for Lamborghini models’ award-winning design is the Centro Stile Lamborghini, which has been strengthening the brand’s unique design DNA and developing Lamborghini cars in-house for over 20 years now.

By winning the most important Red Dot award – Best of the Best – the Revuelto further bolsters its status as a groundbreaking super sports car.

Lamborghini’s first High Performance Electrified Vehicle raises the bar in performance and driving pleasure through its unprecedented architecture combining a carbon fiber frame with a plug-in hybrid power plant composed of a 6.5-liter V12 engine and three electric motors.

One of these electric motors is placed between the engine and the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox while the two others are located on the front axle, creating an all-wheel drive system. Together, the engine and the motors generate 1,015 hp.

The Red Dot jury also awarded the Temerario in the Product Design category. This super sports car is equipped with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that can rev up to 10,000 rpm – the first and only super sports car engine capable of achieving this. Like in the Revuelto, paired to the engine are three electric motors.

With 800 hp and 950 Nm of torque, the Urus SE is the most powerful super SUV.

The Temerario’s plug-in hybrid power plant delivers a combined output of 920 hp and 730 Nm of torque, sent to all four wheel through a double-clutch gearbox.

Rounding off Lamborghini’s Red Dot Awards haul is the Urus SE, which features a new design, optimized aerodynamics, and advanced on-board technology.

At the heart of this super SUV is a newly developed plug-in hybrid system combining a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with an electric motor. Complementing the power plant is an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

The configuration allows the Urus SE to deliver 800 hp and 950 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful and fastest production model in the super SUV category.

With its entire model range honored with the highest distinctions at the Red Dot Awards, Lamborghini confirms its role in revolutionizing automotive design, bringing together tradition and innovation to create supercars that not only stir emotions, but also set new benchmarks in the industry.
