SVC: Ready to take on Laguna
For several years now, Synergyauto Ventures Corp. Group (SVC) has been a flourishing ‘synergy’ of an industry veteran and a dynamic and young set of individuals ready to provide consumers their needs and wants from a vehicle.
Doroteo “Tey” Sornet, the company president has been in the automotive industry for four long decades, masterfully navigating the sales and marketing arms of countless of carmakers until he eventually decided to take on the helm of leading his own company.
Meanwhile, Tionson brothers, Paul and Mark, having had the experience in the manufacturing industry largely due to their family’s prominent background, decided to venture into business of car-selling.
Hence, their company, SVC, was born. Paul serves as the executive vice president, while Mark takes care more the financial side of the business.

So far, SVC has established dealerships in Sucat, Parañaque; Dasmariñas and Carmona in Cavite, and Alabang, Muntinlupa.
Just recently, they have just officially opened the doors of the newly-built Nissan Calamba dealership.
“This new market presents a lot of opportunities for Nissan and our group,” shared Paul during an exclusive interview with Inquirer Motoring.
The Nissan Calamba hub is their fifth dealership–yet their first in the province of Laguna. According to the older Tionson, the province has not yet been fully maximized since there are still a lot of opportunities to capitalize on.

The City of Calamba, for one, tops the province in revenues. The city, garnering more than P19 billion in revenue, has mainly accumulated income from manufacturing and economic plants, tourism, agriculture and services.
“Yes, there may be other dealerships, like in San Pablo, Sta. Rosa and South woods. Yet, Calamba, being the top income generator, still has that gap. That’s why we feel we need to fill it,” he continued.
“In terms of penetrating, this is an entirely different set of people. And it’s good. It’s a very strategic expansion. It allows us to expand our reach,” he added.
Also, for him, Calamba also has a lot of industrial zones.
“Plus, what Nissan can fill also are the requirements of these corporate clients.

Calamba is unique since it has that mix.
You’re not just catering to a retail – centric market for their personal needs. You’re also catering to the needs of the businesses that operate here.”
Meanwhile, for his part, Nissan Philippines president Masao Tsutsumi is confident of what SVC can do.
“I believe SVC has the capabilities to exceptionally serve customers here in Laguna,” he said.
“This is our 51st dealership in the country and it is a great opportunity to expand our network here in Calamba.”
