Tesla PH previews 2026 Model Y L 6-seater
Tesla Philippines previewed on Wednesday its first-ever three-row model at its Tesla Experience Center at the Bonifacio Global City in the Taguig City.
The American automaker unveiled the 2026 Tesla Model Y L battery-electric vehicle (EV), which is a six-seat, midsize version of its best-selling compact crossover. It is 186 millimeters longer, 62 millimeters wider and 44 millimeters taller than the standard Model Y, along with having its wheelbase lengthened by 150 millimeters.
The Model Y L carries over the familiar, crisp styling cues of its smaller siblings, such as the full-width LED daytime running lights with LED headlights in the lower bumper. This longer variant also retains the model’s upward-sweeping window line and electrically deployable door handles, but gets 19-inch Machina 2.0 alloy wheels.
Out back is where the most notable exterior changes are – the Model Y L gets an extended roofline to not only better accommodate the third-row passengers, but also to help the EV cut the air more cleanly. Meanwhile, a new rear spoiler helps increase downforce at higher speeds.

Room for more
Inside, the Model Y L gets synthetic leather upholstery in a new Zen Grey color that complements the all-black headliner and standard ambient lighting.
The minimalist dashboard is dominated by the central touchscreen infotainment system, which is mated to a 19-speaker Immersive Sound X surround-sound system. First-row and second-row passengers get electrically adjustable and air-conditioned seats, while the third-row seats feature power-recline and one-touch-folding functions, along with dedicated air-con vents.
The Model Y L also offers up to 2,539 liters of cargo space when all the rear seats are folded.
Rapid people carrier
The L variant serves as the new flagship of the Model Y range in the Philippines.
As such, it has an 82-kWh lithium-ion battery pack mated to dual electric motors for a combined output of 457 horsepower through all four wheels – Tesla Philippines claims a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 5 seconds and a top speed of 201 km/h. It likewise features Electronic Damping Adaptive Suspension and a claimed maximum WLTP range of 681 kilometers.
Although pricing has not yet been finalized, Tesla Philippines said the all-new 2026 Model Y L is expected to start at P2,849,000, with deliveries beginning as early as April this year. It competes with other premium, three-row EVs like the P3,321,000 BYD Tang EV
Other Model Y variants include the P2,369,000 Premium RWD, the P2,594,000 Premium Long Range RWD and the P2,749,000 Premium Long Range AWD.
