The oversized Jetour G700 is intelligently hybrid and ruggedly luxurious
The 21st edition of the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) is in full swing and exhibitors, with their newest offerings in the local market, came out swinging on jam-packed Day 1. One of them was Jetour Auto Philippines with its newest electrified luxury large SUV–The G700.
MIAS 2026 is showcasing the local market’s shift towards full electrics, hybrids, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and Range-Extended Electric Vehicles (REEVs), with many brands introducing their latest models in these categories.
“As for Jetour, we are making a big splash at MIAS 2026 by launching the all-new G700 PHEV Flagship SUV. This is a major highlight for the brand, as the G700 is our largest plug-in hybrid electric vehicle to date. It’s designed to offer a premium electrified option in the SUV segment, combining powerful performance with advanced technology and luxury features,” said company managing director, Miguelito Jose.
According to him, this is a key introduction for Jetour in the local market, adding a premium and electrified option to their SUV lineup.
“The G700 is set to impress with its size, plug-in hybrid capabilities, and array of advanced features.”

Jetour is pricing this electrified luxury large SUV at P4,488,000 and by the looks of it, the vehicle is set to go head-to-head with the likes of the Toyota Land Cruiser 500 and the Nissan Patrol.
Highlighting GAIA
Moreover, the vehicle is further underscored by its GAIA or “Generation of All-Terrain Intelligent Architecture”, the revolutionary, next-generation hybrid off-road platform developed by Jetour.
“It represents Jetour’s leap into the ‘3.0 era’ of luxury hybrid off-road travel, deeply integrating advanced hybrid systems with intelligent technologies,” Jose continued.
According to him, it’s designed to provide uncompromising power and cutting-edge intelligence for demanding exploration and redefines the boundaries of off-road luxury.
Measuring 5,198mm long, 2,050mm wide and 1,956mm tall, this brute features a sporty yet massive and robust profile, combined with a premium panache.
Under the hood is a 2.0-L turbocharged PHEV system with 34.13kWh battery, two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission, which can produce 904hp and 1,135N-m of torque, along with 100km and up to 1,400km of total range.

Inside, it’s home to a spacious and luxurious cabin, complemented by a 35-inch total info and instrument display at the dash, along with a 17.3-inch rear entertainment display, captain and leather-laden seats and a 360-degree camera.
Other features
The new Jetour G700 sports a dedicated off-road chassis with adaptive suspension,
an electromagnetic air suspension with up to 150mm of adjustable travel, allowing for a maximum ground clearance of 350mm.
This enables superior handling and comfort on diverse and challenging terrains.
Another is its intelligent off-road capabilities, which gives the vehicle advanced maneuvers like “tank turns” (skid-steer), “crab-walk mode,” and an intelligent XWD system with “7+X” driving modes that automatically detect terrain and adjust driving strategies. This makes off-road driving more accessible and efficient.
The amphibious technology ups the ante by integrating marine engineering, high-performance turbo thrusters, and intelligent sensors. This provides GAIA-based vehicles the ability to traverse water.
Furthermore, GAIA-built SUVs incorporate a suite of intelligent features, including low-orbit satellite communication for global connectivity, an onboard oxygen generation system for high-altitude environments, an AI-powered immersive cockpit, and advanced terrain navigation with parking assistance.
“It also supports continuous intelligent system upgrades through over-the-air updates,” the company head honcho added.
This newest Jetour G700, along with its other siblings in the lineup, is on display at the World Trade Center in Pasay City until Sunday, April 12.
