Toyota trifecta
As early as January, there have been rumors circulating that an electrified version of the Toyota Hilux will finally land on our shores this year.
Lo’ and behold, finally it has come true. And it’s not just an electrified version but a battery electric vehicle (BEV).
Yes, the all-new Toyota Hilux BEV will be available for preview at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show. And not only that, along with it are the all-new Land Cruiser FJ and the Land Cruiser 300 HEV.
TMP already has the Rav 4, Toyota Altis, Cross, the Innova, Vios and many more in its stable that have gotten on the electrified train. Hence, why not the Hilux?
At the upcoming Philippine International Motor Show, expect the country’s biggest automaker to go out with guns blazing. With its Multi-Pathway Approach, a strategy to achieve carbon neutrality by offering diverse powertrain technologies, TMP will be displaying vehicles with internal combustion engines to hybrids, as well as battery electric vehicles.
Hilux BEV
According to sources, the Hilux BEV keeps the signature body-on-frame construction, is equipped with dual e-axles, permanent all-wheel drive and robust commercial utility.
It sports a 59.2-kWh lithium-ion, all-wheel-drive (dual front and rear e-axles) and can produce about 170 to 193 hp (depending on the region).
Also, it can reach a range of 240 km to 300 km.
According to TMP, with its “invincible spirit” of durability and performance, the all-new Hilux is ready to make its debut in the country as a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV).
For them, it’s “guided by the tough and agile design philosophy that customers can expect the Hilux BEV to have a much more dynamic and sophisticated fascia in the form of a “Cyber-Sumo” aesthetic.

Fresh FJ
The Land Cruiser line has a fresh new addition to its withstanding legacy with the Land Cruiser FJ.
The LC FJ, which stands for Land Cruiser Freedom and Joy, highlights the nameplate’s adventurous and versatile nature.
The LC FJ sports an internal combustion engine (ICE) suitable for its 4×4 nature. It also features a differential lock, auto limited slip differential, second start mode, and a panoramic view monitor, exuding an anytime-ready rugged outdoors vibe.

LC–electrified
The all-new LC300 HEV is set to redefine its legendary status with the “combination of the Land Cruiser 300’s proven durability, unmatched power and performance, and Toyota’s practical hybrid system added to its 3.5 V6 engine.”
Body upgrades include an aero body kit with Jet Black Garnish.
Ben & Ben Show
To spice things up at the PIMS, TMP is bringing in OPM sensation Ben & Ben to even light up its display. The band will be playing live from 6pm to 7pm on June 5.
As Toyota Choice ambassadors, Ben&Ben help “bring to life Toyota’s message of giving every customer the freedom to choose the ride that fits their lifestyle, needs, and journey.”
“The Philippine International Motor Show has always been a great platform for Toyota to showcase our latest and future offerings of Toyota,” said TMP first vice president of vehicle sales operations Elijah Marcial.
Marcial is inviting the public to come to Toyota’s PIMS 2026 booth to see their upcoming models up close, test drive their latest vehicle lineup, and enjoy with families and friends while watching their Toyota Choice Ambassadors, Ben&Ben, perform their songs.
“Toyota is dedicated to ensuring our customers’ choice leads to a smooth ownership experience, and one that gives them a dedicated peace of mind,” she added.
“We hope that with Toyota’s PIMS 2026 booth, guests will be able to have the power of choice to choose what is best for their mobility needs.”
