United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) is ‘on the move’ again.

UAAGI, which carries BAIC, Chery, Foton, Lynk & Co, started moving in unison together with all its brands last year with the ‘UAAGI-verse’ at the Manila International Auto Show; then, it had a few pop-up displays here and there, just to name a few.

Now, they are striking again with the ‘UAAGI On The Move Roadshow Tour,’ which is slated at the Fashion Hall of SM Megamall from February 20 to 23, 2025. This marks the first leg of the four-part series, setting the stage for an exciting “multi-brand automotive extravaganza” happening throughout the year in various parts of the country.

Here, the company aims to bring its brands directly to Filipino motorists residing in different areas nationwide, signifying its commitment to reach a wider audience in providing their top-notch products and services. Moreover, each of the brands under UAAGI caters to diverse needs and preferences of the local market.

For one, Chery, with its small, compact, sub-compact and midsize crossover SUV Tiggo models, is more mainstream; while Lynk & Co has its own niche market, positioning itself as a mid-premium brand. BAIC, on the other hand, although commercial, is now offering its recreational vehicles, like the more upscale models: the B40 Ragnar, B80 Wagon, B60 Beaumont and the B30e Dune. Meanwhile, Foton, since time immemorial, has been catering to the commercial segment in the more local mass market for almost two decades now.

Exciting promos and activities

Expect the ‘UAAGI On The Move RoadShow,’ like any of its endeavors, to be as exciting as ever. Aside from serving as a one-stop shop for the best deals, offering exclusive promotions and special offers throughout the event, renowned Filipino OPM artist, Chito Miranda of Parokya ni Edgar is set to captivate the crowd with his funny antics and entertaining cool musical performances.

Moreover, to spice things up while potential buyers get in line to purchase their vehicles, clients who get to reserve a vehicle during the event get the chance to win additional savings and incentives by trying their luck at the interactive digital “gacha” machines, which dispense prizes that offer special discounts on their select vehicles. It’s UAAGI’s way of catering to its customers of all ages.

Dazzling displays and test drives

During the whole duration of the roadshow, the brands under UAAGI get to flaunt their vehicles.

For BAIC, the B30e Dune, X55 Verve Sport, B40 Ragnar and B60 Beaumont will be on parade. While the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid and the new 2025 Tiggo 2 Pro, and Foton’s Tunland V9 4×4 AT will be there to excite the crowd. Finally, for Lynk & Co, the 05 AWD Fastback SUV and 06 SUV will be displayed.

According to UAAGI, dedicated after-sales consultation areas, along with displays of licensed accessories and merchandise will be there. Representatives from official bank partners, BDO and RCBC, will be on-site to quickly assist clients with their financing needs, “making the car buying process seamless and convenient.”

Complimentary coffee and refreshments will also be served, together with special perks offered to those who test drive or reserve a vehicle during the event proper.

In addition, these UAAGI vehicle models from its various brands will likewise be offered for test drive for the public to have a chance to personally experience first-hand the capabilities of these vehicles. Particularly, most of the available vehicles for test drives will be their hybrid and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) for them to delight in the electrified experience.

UAAGI’s one-stop shop format further eyes to empower the Filipino car buyer by providing them a wide range of vehicle brands under one roof, thus making it an easy, accessible, and fun experience for them.
