When an additive becomes an imperative

Perception is not necessarily the truth as it is someone’s interpretation, whether right or wrong, of the truth.

Such is the case of automotive additives. There is a common perception among customers and even industry players, particularly in the service sector, that additive products are not necessary for their vehicles and that these additives being sold them by the automotive dealers is an “overkill” or just added expense. The proliferation of bad quality additive products in the market for years resulted to this perception as distributors harped on product benefits without clear proof and research to back their claims. But there are superb quality additives—which may be better called “imperatives,” such as the X-1R Performance products.
