1 killed, 2 hurt in Pasig City fire

One person died while two others were injured in an early Sunday fire in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City.
The fire started at a residential community on Acacia Street at 3:47 a.m., the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said. It reached a second alarm until it was put out past 6 a.m.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The remains of a 19-year-old man were recovered from one of burned houses later at around 8 a.m. as firefighters had difficulties reaching it.
The fire affected an estimated 30 houses worth around P1 million, the BFP said.
