10 more Pinoys arrive from Cambodia

Ten more Filipinos from Oddar Meanchey Province in Cambodia were repatriated on Sunday, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said, as it again warned against deceptive overseas job offers circulated on social media, “which could bring miserable, even harmful outcomes in some cases.”
The Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh did not disclose details about the Filipinos and only lauded the repatriation that was carried out “on the back of long-standing friendly ties between the Philippines and Cambodia.”
This latest batch follows the April 16 repatriation of 26 other Filipinos from the same province.
The DFA earlier said that the embassy, acting on the request of concerned Filipinos, made representations with the Cambodian government to secure their release from a company in Samraong town in Oddar Meanchey.
