2 Caloocan cops caught selling guns illegally

Two Caloocan City police officers were arrested on Thursday during an entrapment for illegally selling firearms, according to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
It identified the arrested officers as a 32-year-old police staff sergeant and a 39-year-old police master sergeant.
The NCRPO said the two suspects yielded several firearms, including two guns issued by the Philippine National Police, two smartphones, cash and two motorcycles that had no license plates.
The suspects were taken to the Caloocan City police station which is preparing to charge them with violating Republic Act No. 10591 or the Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
