Caap, BCDA in pact on Clark International

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) signed on Tuesday an agreement on the flight control facilities at Clark International Airport.

Under the agreement, Caap will continue to oversee the communications, navigation and surveillance/air traffic management at Clark, while the BCDA will provide funding for the procurement of parts and maintenance.

“This agreement ensures that our air traffic services, navigation systems and equipment are maintained and operated to the highest standards of excellence and efficiency,” Caap Director General Raul del Rosario said in his remarks during the signing ceremony.
