The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) has lauded one of its security personnel, Christian James Andres, and a passenger, Kevin Velasco, after they found a wallet containing P10,000 in cash at the Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPIA) and turned it over to authorities.

The wallet had been left behind by a Manila-bound Japanese student who sent a representative to retrieve it on Wednesday.

“This incident highlights the high level of integrity and dedication of the airport staff in maintaining trust and security for all travelers,” the Caap said in a statement.
