Cops probe theft of sacred relics in Bulacan

CITY OF MALOLOS—Authorities are investigating the theft of sacred relics from two churches in San Miguel, Bulacan, including the silver shield, wings, spear and sword of the St. Michael Archangel image.
The robberies, which occurred on Holy Wednesday in Birheng Mapanglunas and on March 27 in San Miguel Arkanghel Parish, may be linked and involve a single suspect or group.
Police have persons of interest under watch, and the stolen items are valued at over P400,000.
