WHAT IS “TRENTAHIN”

ORIGIN

Trentahin came from the root word “trenta,” a Spanish word which translates to “thirty.” Added by the verb suffix “–hin,” the Filipino slang was born. Trentahin became a widely used term in 2025 by the “30s” or “nearing 30s” demographic. It is frequently used to describe the feeling of turning 30 or poking fun at the usual signs of adulting, such as experiencing back pain, liking bland food, and having an early bedtime.
