DOTr warns public vs fake messages

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Sunday warned the public against individuals posing as its chief, Vince Dizon, and his staff in private messages and social media platforms.
The agency urged the public to ignore messages from individuals posing as DOTr officials.
The DOTr did not provide details of what transpired, but urged the public to report incidents to the agency hotline at 0920-9643687.
The agency said Dizon and other DOTr officials “will never conduct official transactions outside the agency’s recognized and authorized channels.”
