Dy: 7K beneficiaries assisted by House aid program

The House of Representatives’ assistance center “Suporta sa Bayan” (Support to the People) Desk has been able to deliver P381.5 million worth of assistance to 7,174 beneficiaries since the program was launched on March 18, according to a report from the office of House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III released Monday.

In July alone, the desk was able to provide P167.4 million worth of assistance to 2,905 beneficiaries. “What we want is faster, better, and more humane service—which is the goal of the [desk],” Dy said.
