Employees to help identify PH’s Best Employers 2026

Employees who are proud of who or what they work for will get a chance to brag about their places of employment in the Philippines Best Employers 2026 search.

Now in its fourth year, the search for the Philippines Best Employers is done through a survey of employees of different companies undertaken annually by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, in collaboration with German market research firm Statista, Inc.

Survey participants can rate their own employers or rate other companies within their own industry that they feel they can confidently recommend to friends or family.

From May 08 to June 19, 2025, thousands of employees will be asked to rate their own employers or other companies to draw up the definitive list of the country’s best employers for the year 2026.

The ranking is more than just a recognition of outstanding employers. It also aims to share employment best practices and encourage better workplace standards across all industries.

Inclusion in the Best Employers List enhances a company’s reputation and makes it easier to attract top talent and keep productive employees.

The annual project recognizes that employees are in the best position to know what kind of an employer a company or agency is. It seeks to find out from the employees themselves if a company lives up to the public persona it cultivates.

What kind of an employer a company is should be as important as the bottom line. After all, an impressive bottom line owes much to an inspired, motivated, dedicated and loyal staff.

How a company treats its own people is a reflection of its commitment to the good of the Filipino community, in general, and the country and the planet, as a whole. If it fails to meet its responsibilities as an employer, chances are it will also be unable to fulfill its responsibilities in corporate citizenship.

Employees will embrace wholeheartedly a company’s goals and objectives if they know that its growth and success result in better benefits and work conditions for them.

The Philippines’ Best Employers project seeks to find out how well employers are perceived by their own people. It gives employees the chance to rate the companies they work for based on their personal experiences.

Commitment to a company’s goals and objectives does not happen automatically when a person is hired. The employee has to believe and be convinced that the employer does not only want the company’s growth and success but also his/her own growth and well-being and all those other people tasked to achieve that goal.

This focus on the employees’ opinions and beliefs makes the annual undertaking stand out, as it provides a definitive list of who really are the best out there, based on their own people’s assessment, among the thousands of companies in the Philippines that have at least 250 employees.
