Free LRT 2, MRT 3 rides for seafarers on June 25

Pinoy sailors get to ride for free on the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT 2) and Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT 3) on June 25, the Day of the Filipino Seafarer.
The Department of Transportation said in an advisory on Monday that the LRT 2 will be offering the free rides from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On the MRT 3, the free rides will be from 5:30 a.m. until the end of the train operations.
To qualify for the freebie, seafarers should present their Seafarer’s Record Book, Seafarer’s Identity Document or Seafarer’s Identification Booklet at any train station.
