Free MRT 3, LRT 2 rides for state workers

Government employees get to ride for free on the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT 3) and Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT 2) from Sept. 18 to Sept. 20 in celebration of the 124th anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service.
They need only to present their employee IDs to station personnel. The free rides will be available from 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the MRT 3 and from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the LRT 2.
“We would like to extend our gratitude to all government employees who serve with integrity for the welfare of the public,” MRT 3 General Manager Oscar Bongon said in a statement. —DEXTER CABALZA
