The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has suspended the operation of a transport network vehicle service vehicle and ordered its driver to explain the inappropriate content he posted on social media involving his passenger, actress Xyriel Manabat. LTFRB Chair Vigor Mendoza II said the act may constitute sexual harassment.
The driver was given 10 days to submit a written explanation on why his franchise should not be suspended or revoked, with a hearing set on April 28. Failure to appear and respond would be deemed as a waiver and may result in a P5,000 penalty, the LTFRB said.
