Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chair Vigor Mendoza II on Wednesday vowed to solve over 37,000 pending motions and petitions filed with the agency before the end of the year.
Mendoza ordered all LTFRB division chiefs to resolve 4,000 pending motions and petitions in the next 30 days to expedite the clearance of the backlog.
The order, he said, is in line with Acting Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez’s instruction after being informed of the thousands of backlogs based on a report submitted to his office.
Aside from the 33,000 pending in the LTFRB Board, there are around 4,000 more pending motions and petitions in various divisions of the LTFRB.
