LTO resolves security paper shortage

Avatar

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has resolved the shortage of security paper being used in the printing of certificates of registration for motor vehicles, the agency’s head said on Friday.

LTO chief Vigor Mendoza said in a statement that fresh supplies of security paper were delivered on Thursday.

The LTO was forced to print the certificate of registration on bond paper for some of its clients due to the shortage in the past few days.

Following the delivery, Mendoza said he will issue another memorandum for the scheduling of the re-printing of the bond-paper printed certificate of registration and other documents.
