Marcos asks Iglesia to help in nation-building

President Marcos on Monday urged members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) to remain “steadfast partners in nation-building” as the religious group marked its 112th anniversary.

Mr. Marcos reaffirmed his support for the INC, which conducted earlier this month a three-day rally in support of Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, then facing arrest for plunder and graft charges.

“As you gather in thanksgiving, may this milestone deepen your commitment to translating your beliefs into meaningful acts that uplift those in need, comfort the weary, and foster harmony wherever you serve,” the President said.
