Marcos launches P20/kilo rice program in Bacoor

President Marcos on Wednesday led the launch of the P20-per-kilo rice program in Bacoor, Cavite.

Together with Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr., Mr. Marcos kicked off the sale of lower-priced rice at the Zapote Public Market.

Some 500 sacks of rice were allocated for the rollout, which may be purchased by senior citizens, solo parents, persons with disabilities, and beneficiaries of the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
