President Marcos may be invited to Washington for a meeting with US President Donald Trump in the first half of the year, Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel Romualdez said on Monday.
In an interview with TeleRadyo, Romualdez said the meeting would likely take place after US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s visit to the Philippines this month.
The US Department of Defense earlier announced that Hegseth “will travel to the Philippines to advance security objectives with Philippine leaders and meet with US and Philippine forces.”
