Marcos: Survey results inspire me to work harder

President Marcos said on Tuesday he is even more inspired to continue his programs and projects to improve the lives of Filipinos after poll results showed his trust rating remains high despite a slight decrease.
In an interview with reporters at the Philippine National Police Academy graduation rites in Silang, Cavite, the President said the results of the recent Tugon ng Masa survey of OCTA Research validated the administration’s efforts to make life better for Filipinos.
The poll showed a 60 percent trust rating for him in April, compared to 65 percent in November 2024. His performance satisfaction rating, on the other hand, was at 59 percent, compared to 64 percent last year.
“It just validates what we are doing, that people are beginning to understand what we have been trying to do for the past two and a half, almost three years. It continues to inspire me because it shows that we’re making progress,” the President said.
“Sometimes you don’t know if what you are doing has any impact on the people. It’s good to see that the people are realizing that what we are doing will help improve their lives,” he added.
