President Marcos on Wednesday thanked outgoing Thailand Ambassador to Manila Tull Traisorat for his contributions to furthering the country’s postpandemic recovery.

The President met with Traisorat when the latter made his farewell call on Mr. Marcos at Malacañang.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you have done to bring our countries closer.

Thailand and the Philippines have forged many new agreements and many new alliances in the past years,” Mr. Marcos said.

He also noted the significant progress in the cooperation between the Philippines and Thailand, especially in postpandemic recovery, economic policies and diplomatic engagements under Traisorat.
