Marcos to meet with Palau counterpart

President Marcos will meet with Palau President Surangel Whipps Jr. on Feb. 24 in Malacañang to tackle the expansion of bilateral cooperation in fisheries, trade, investment, connectivity and other areas of mutual interest.

In a statement on Friday, the Presidential Communications Office said Whipps, who will be on a two-day official visit, will be in Malacañang on Monday for the signing of agreements between the two nations in the western Pacific Ocean.

Whipps’ visit will be capped by an official luncheon hosted by Mr. Marcos and first lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
