Marcos vows to revive Pasig River areas

President Marcos on Saturday vowed to continue the government’s initiatives to revive and renew historic districts along the Pasig River as part of the country’s continuing cultural evolution.

The President made the pledge as he lead rites to launch the lighting of the Jones Bridge to mark the 50th year of bilateral ties between the Philippines and China on Saturday night.

Mr. Marcos delivered his speech from the view deck of the Pasig River Esplanade, which had a spectacular view of the illuminated Jones Bridge.
