The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Monday said it seized earlier this month 1,002 counterfeit luxury products valued at over P120 million in Manila and Parañaque.

In a statement, the NBI said its agents from the Intellectual Property Rights Division searched several stalls in Binondo, Manila and a building in Parañaque City, after the legal counsel of luxury brand Louis Vuitton filed complaints against them.

The NBI operation on May 12 led to the seizure of fake products bearing the Louis Vuitton trademark with an estimated value of P120.9 million.
