Northern Samar gets another wind farm project

TACLOBAN CITY – Another renewable energy company, the Shanghai-based Envision Energy, is set to put up a wind farm in Northern Samar, covering 500 hectares in the town of Allen.
Jan Allen Berbon, head of the Provincial Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office, said the company has began coordinating with some landowners and has installed wind measurement devices, with operations projected to start in 2027.
Envision Energy will be the sixth green energy venture in Northern Samar.
