Palace: Marcos trusts son’s decision on party switch

Luisa Cabato

President Marcos trusts his son, Ilocos Norte Rep. Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos, to make the right decision in choosing a new political party, Palace press officer Claire Castro said on Thursday.

The younger Marcos supposedly left his father’s party, the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, for Lakas-CMD, although he has yet to confirm reports.

Its members include his uncle, former House Speaker Martin Romualdez, and former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
