Malacañang on Monday said it could neither confirm nor deny reports that Vice President Sara Duterte had sought a private meeting with President Marcos to discuss her political future.
Palace press officer Claire Castro said no information had been cascaded to her if such a request had been made.
Online reports said Duterte sought a meeting with Mr. Marcos to offer her resignation and reach a compromise deal that would allow her to run in the 2028 presidential election.
