PAL’s Cebu-Catarman flights take off
March 6, 2025

Philippine Airlines (PAL) launched on March 4 the first direct flights linking Cebu to Catarman, the capital of Northern Samar, further expanding its domestic network.
In a statement on Wednesday, the flag carrier announced that the Cebu-Catarman flights would operate thrice weekly with PAL deploying its 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft for this route.
PAL Express president Rabbi Vincent Ang said that travelers from Catarman would now be connected to other tourist destinations like Boracay, Coron, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Puerto Princesa and Siargao via Cebu.
The new route complements PAL’s current four weekly flights from Manila to Catarman.
