Pasig housing pact inked

The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and Pasig City government have solidified a partnership for in-city housing projects aimed at informal settler families and low-income residents under the National Housing Program for Filipinos (4PH).

Housing Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar and Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday laying the groundwork for the joint housing initiative.

“The highest percentage of informal settlers are found here in Metro Manila, so pushing for the implementation of in-city projects is our priority,” Acuzar said. “It would really have a huge positive impact on the lives of most of our countrymen wanting to have their own homes through the 4PH program.”
