PNP revamp: New reassignments announced

The Philippine National Police on Friday announced a number of new reassignments as part of its ongoing reshuffle.

PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo was concurrently assigned new head of the Philippine National Police Directorate for Comptrollership, effective June 20. She replaces Maj. Gen. Neil Buaqueña Alinsañgan, who was assigned to head the Eastern Mindanao Area Police Command.

Replacing Fajardo as Central Luzon regional director was Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones, former Western Visayas regional director.

Similarly, Brig. Gen. Jerry Protacio was named the new Cagayan Valley director, after being previously assigned to head the Information Technology Management Service, also last Wednesday.
