PTV 4 eyes collaborations with major TV networks

State-run People’s Television Network (PTV 4) will explore potential partnerships with media networks GMA, ABS-CBN and MediaQuest’s TV5.

“The PTV Board, led by chairperson Victoria Recio, vice chairperson Prof. Antonio Contreras, and board member Atty. Joji Alonso, adopted a resolution authorizing me to enter into partnerships with these media organizations to further advance our mandate,”

PTV 4 general manager Lino Cayetano said on Thursday in a social media post. Cayetano stressed the importance of collaboration among multiple stakeholders to help PTV 4 remain relevant to Filipino viewers.

“To serve Filipinos better and remain engaged and relevant in their lives, we need multiple stakeholders at the table, working alongside the already outstanding and hardworking men and women of PTV,” he said.
