Pump prices to go up from 20 to 70 centavos

Motorists will pay more for petroleum products in the last week of the month as Jetti, Seaoil, Petro Gazz, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Flying V and Shell Pilipinas, in separate advisories on Monday, said that effective Feb. 25, the price of gasoline per liter would jump by 70 centavos.
Diesel and kerosene, on the other hand, will also have upward adjustments per liter of 40 centavos and 20 centavos, respectively.
Industry sources said late last week that the potential supply disruption in the global market, particularly amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, could lead to more expensive petroleum products.
The latest price movements will bring the year-to-date net increases per liter in gasoline and diesel prices to P4.75 and kerosene to P2.90.
