QC cops seize P2-M ‘shabu,’ ‘kush’ from man

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) announced on Wednesday the seizure of over P2 million worth of illegal drugs. The QCPD Batasan Police Station 6 carried out the buy-bust operation on Tuesday on Commonwealth Avenue in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

A police officer posed as a buyer and purchased P48,000 worth of drugs from the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Lemuel Lucero, the QCPD said. Lucero was arrested after the transaction.

He yielded 300 grams of “shabu” valued at P2.04 million and 140 grams of high-grade marijuana “kush” believed to be worth P214,000. Lucero will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
