LUCENA CITY – Taal Volcano in Batangas recorded seven volcanic quakes over the past 24 hours and emitted only 1,181 metric tons sulfur dioxide, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said on Saturday.
No volcanic smog, or “vog,” was also observed during the latest monitoring period.
