Trains carrying tourists collided near Machu Picchu, a World Heritage site in southern Peru, on Tuesday, killing a driver and injuring over 30, including two Japanese, according to local media and the Japanese government.
The two injured Japanese were taken to a hospital, the Japanese Embassy in Peru said, adding that their conditions are not life-threatening.
